The driver drove like the tour bus was some sort of personal race car. His driving ability would have warranted him a suspension and heavy fine if he had been seen doing that in New Jersey. His hard braking, hard turns, and speeding was nauseating at best and frightening at worst. He also took us places on the tour that he claimed weren't part of it, therefore warranting a higher tip. His facts were occasionally wrong: the house he said was Marilyn Monroe's wasn't in fact hers, and the spot he said was THE Hotel California, like the Eagles song, was also not true. However, that's not my problem. My problem with the tour was the driver's driving ability. He needs to slow down. Traffic was light, there was no reason to speed, we weren't running late, and the 8 hour tour was in fact cut down to only 6 and a half.

The driver made the journey uncomfortable by driving too fast. He also gave the impression that he was going out of his way to show us different things, even though they were clearly on the itinerary in the leaflet. However, we did not see the Hollywood Bowl as indicated in the leaflet. My family was unhappy with the parking place at Venice Beach, feeling a bit insecure down a quiet side street. All this having been said, we would still recommend the tour to others as good value, and only comment to help.

Not that fussed about what we saw.

The guide tried to be too funny and hardly talked about the area we were visiting.

Whisked around very fast, but that's the nature of the tour. The bus driver wasn't very pleasant on the pick up stage, but once he was on the tour he made a transformation to something better. I'd recommend the tour for anyone who's in LA for a day or two, like me.

Were late leaving in the morning as VIP tours took ages processing everything, guide was also very rude not just to us but to other customers as well.

Overall I thought the tour was disappointing. We did a lot of "drive bys" in the areas I was most interested in seeing (Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Sunset Strip) and spent too much time at more undesirable spots like Venice Beach and the Dorothy Chandler Arena. It was too general, and too long. Maybe the Star Homes tour would've been a better choice.

Driver was not courteous until he picked up his busload of people and then he performed liked a trained seal for a tip! He also drove like a maniac on the freeways in the express lane. Very disappointed, would not recommend to friends.
